The South Howard Flooding project will be presented to City Council on November 7, 2024, at the 9 a.m. meeting. You are welcome to attend the meeting in person or watch it live or recorded. Below is information on how to watch the meeting as well as how to make a public comment. Please be aware that these meetings often go until 5 or 6 p.m. The staff presentation on the flooding project is likely to be in the afternoon. However, public comment for this item will be at the beginning of the meeting around 9:30 a.m.
If you plan to attend in person, please wear a white shirt so that the city council knows who is there to support the project.

PUBLIC COMMENTS: - (3 MINUTES PER SPEAKER FOR ANY MATTERS OTHER THAN PUBLIC HEARINGS – PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO SPEAKERS WISHING TO ADDRESS ITEMS ON THE AGENDA.) Members of the public can attend in person in City Council chambers in Old City Hall or virtually participate in this public meeting by using what is referred to by State of Florida statutes and rules as “communications media technology” (“CMT”).
TO SPEAK REMOTELY DURING PUBLIC COMMENT WITH THE USE OF CMT PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED:Complete the form at https://www.tampa.gov/PublicComment AND state on the form under “Request Type” that you wish to speak live during the public comment period. You will then be contacted with additional instructions on how to participate live through the use of CMT. Registration for speaking remotely must be requested at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. |
